A baby's 4-month milestone session is so much fun, and very different from the newborn session that they had only a few months earlier. First of all, it takes much less time. A newborn session can last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours and a milestone session usually can be completed in about an hour. The primary goal of a newborn session is to get the baby to sleep, and I use a lot of tricks to achieve that goal. But with a milestone session, the goal is to have a happy, awake baby, and to achieve this, a nap beforehand is always encouraged.

But the best part of a 4-month photo shoot is all the personality that comes out during the session. Your baby will be placed on their tummy and I will capture all the excitement of tummy time! Babies tend to show many facial expressions as they look at their parents, and around the room. Smiles are common as well as some dramatic looks that pierce right through the camera. They can really be breathtaking!

The sweet baby in this session showed so much happiness and joy, it was a delight to photograph him. The look on his face when he looked at his parents was priceless, but I also captured some great images when he looked at the camera.
