One of my favorite types of photo sessions is a 1-year "Cake Smash". It is so much fun because the baby does all the work :-) Each session is different depending on how the child reacts to the cake. Some are shy and take a little time to get used to the idea of eating sweets with abandon. Others are more aggressive and start double fisting it right from the start :-)

This sweet, gentle little girl showed no hesitation once she saw the cake coming. She dove right in until she was covered in icing and ready for mommy to pick her up!

We started with some pretty pics of her in her birthday dress :-)
